Partnering with Duke of Shomolu Foundation, Bianca will be based on Bianca Ojukwu's life, the Nigerian beauty queen and politician. This musical will premiere in 2027 at the Shaw Theatre with Iyke Erojikwe as writer and director

HOME

Afrofuturist political drama. In 2092, after Western governments order their Black populations to leave and "return" to Africa, five displaced Western-born Black citizens seek refuge in a powerful African state rich in gold. But when the resource-starved West comes begging for access to the continent's wealth, old Africans and new Africans are forced to decide what makes someone African—and how much belonging is worth when survival has a price. This play is written and will be directed by Tayo Elesin

One Way Ticket

When an ambitious Nigerian man newly arrived in Britain rents a room from a fiercely independent British-Nigerian woman, their clashing ideas about Nigeria, Britain, identity and success turn a reluctant living arrangement into an unexpected love affair. But as London begins to disappoint him and Nigeria begins to call him home, they must decide whether home is a country, a culture—or another person. This play is written and will be directed by Tayo Elesin
